Western Maine Active Communities Conference

Attend the Western Maine Active Communities Conference and learn how to integrate physical activity opportunities into community planning, transportation, and land use decisions. This event is brought to you by a collaborative effort between the Oxford County Active Community Environment Team (ACET), and the Western Maine Community Transformation Grant (CTG) Program. The ACET group, a part of the Oxford County Wellness Collaborative, is a dedicated core of individuals from across Oxford County who are working to improve opportunities for active living. The Western Maine CTG Program, funded by the CDC, is a public health partnership that is also devoted to increasing physical activity in Oxford, Franklin, and Androscoggin counties Lead coordination for this event is being provided by The Bicycle Coalition of Maine and Healthy Oxford Hills, a Healthy Maine Partnership and a project of Stephens Memorial Hospital.
