Chesterville -The Chesterville Heritage Society would like to invite all area residents to its first annual Chili/Chowder Contest on Saturday, February 16, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Chesterville Town Hall. Anyone may enter a chili, a chowder, or both, and anyone is welcome to participate by sampling the dishes and voting for a winner.  The event is a fundraiser, but donations are voluntary.  All proceeds will be put toward the Society's newly renovated headquarters and historic artifacts collection. To enter a chili or chowder in the contest, simply deliver it to the Town Hall, which is on the Dutch Gap Road, by 11:30 a.m. Saturday, preferably pre-warmed.  A list of ingredients must be included.  To help with the sampling and voting, just show up at noon!
